Our Story

Born from the high desert

1188 Brewing didn't start in a boardroom — it started at a kitchen table with a homebrew kit, a mountain view, and the stubborn belief that Bend deserved a brewery that cared as much about the process as the pour.

We brew small. We brew often. And we brew right here on Dobbin Court, where the air is dry, the water is clean, and the people who walk through our door become regulars before they even finish their first flight.

Every style on our tap list has a story — a recipe developed over dozens of test batches, ingredients sourced with intention, and a final product we'd actually want to drink after a long day on the trail.
